Ron and Jaffa have bonded and are Jaffa likes nothing more than to be with Ron. Jaffa lives in the cafe and has become very popular with customers and local children who pop in to see him and of course Jaffa just loves all the attention he is getting. At times he gets a little noisy and we have to put him to bed for a little while and he knows then it is time to be quiet. He greets regular customers with a welcoming "hello" which always makes people smile - Senagal parrots can live for forty years so we have many years of Jaffa's company.
Jaffa is a Senagal parrot who came to us via a lovely customer called Frank who had to let his beloved Jaffa go as Frank is too poorly to keep him. It was a sad goodbye for Frank who has looked after and loved Jaffa for sixteen years. As soon as Jaffa arrived we knew he was going to stay with us.
